If you use our Contact us or Request a demo forms, we collect:
- your name, institution and email address, plus information you provide in the subject and message fields such as your subject area and your role

- legitimate interests - to allow us to answer pre-sales queries and record email exchanges with existing and potential customers. We do not use this information beyond responding to the specific query.

Signing up to receive email newsletters/information about the Teaching Innovation Awards
If you opt in to receive email newsletters and/or information about the Teaching Innovation Awards, we send marketing communications relating to our business which we think may be of interest.

Applying to our Teaching Innovation Awards
If you apply to our Teaching Innovation Awards, we collect:

- consent - you can withdraw your application at any time and request that we delete the information we hold about you.

We retain this data until:
- You choose to unsubscribe. All newsletter emails allow you to unsubscribe via a link in the footer at any time and you will no longer receive email newsletters/information about the TIAs from us. We will also delete your data from Webflow and Mailchimp if you specifically request us to do this.
What we will and will not do
We will:
- only disclose your personal information to other organisations if we are required to do so by law, in order to help investigate/prevent unlawful activity, in order to defend our legal rights or to prospective buyers or sellers of company assets.
We will not:
- use any information you provide for the purposes of automated decision making, including profiling.
- provide your personal information to any organisations or third country for the purpose of direct marketing and will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

Data Rights Requests (DRR)
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you. Any such request or queries about this right should be sent to info@learnsci.com. There is no fee unless the request is excessive or unfounded. We will require proof of your identity to carry out the request (e.g. passport, driving licence). We will respond within 30 days of your request, which starts immediately on receipt of the request, unless a payment is due in which case it commences once the payment has been received.
